Meet Franzi

Hey everyone, my name is Franziska Neidhart. I’m currently studying IB in the third semester and I’m planning to do my internship in the coming semester somewhere in Germany. I was born in Karlsruhe but shortly afterwards moved to Regensburg (Bayern) where I’ve been living for the past 15 years. At my High School I did a few short term exchanges at our partner schools in Italy and America and engaged myself as a tutor, class representative, organized our graduation ceremony and prom. In June 2012 I finished High School and right afterwards started studying at the ESB, making me one of the younger ones here. The ESB spirit, English language and international composition of students made it easy for me to go for the ESB. 


So far I’ve had a great time here and engaged myself in three committees: Application Process, Sales Force and Enactus. The participation in the interviews last semester was a great opportunity to experience the application process from the interviewer’s perspective especially, and also to have a say in the decision on which students are going to join the IB program. Organizing the study information days and then representing the IB program at our booth was a lot of fun in the past semesters and also a great way to get in touch with potential students. Currently we’re planning this year’s study information days and are looking forward to a lot of interested pupils attending our two “open door days” on the 20.11. and 23.11.!

Last semester break I did an internship at a CSR agency in Berlin, which was especially interesting as we didn’t learn anything concerning CSR up until now in our study program, but I consider this area as very forward-looking and influence-winning. I enjoyed living in Berlin a lot as it was a welcome change from Reutlingen!
My plans for the future are to do a bachelor degree in seven semesters and then gain some experience in the working environment, before starting to do my master’s degree somewhere abroad.
